I’m sat listening to my favourite soundtrack on Spotify, with a light dusting of snow outside the window, writing a few posts ready for you to read in 2026. Before moving forward, I wanted to pause for a moment and round up the blog posts you loved most in 2025.
Last year marked the eighth year of my blog, and it’s been my best yet. It’s grown more than I ever imagined, and I’m so grateful to everyone who stops by to read, comment, and share along the way.
I really found my writing mojo again this year. I still find typos hard to spot and spelling doesn’t always come easily, it won’t surprise you to learn that I hated English at school, but with the help of AI spellcheckers and a splash more confidence, writing about travel and life has become something I enjoy immensely. Most of all, I love sharing beautiful places from around the world and, hopefully, inspiring you to travel, explore, and experience different cultures along the way.
I don’t yet know what 2026 has in store, but I’m manifesting plenty of travel, adventure, and growth. A few years ago I was introduced to the idea of choosing a word of the year instead of making New Year’s resolutions, a word to live by and embrace. My word for this year is cultivate. I want to nurture a few things and help them grow, but with care and intention along the way. And this blog will be something I continue to cultivate. What would your word be? Do pop it in the comments.
So, without further delay, here are the posts that attracted the most traffic in 2025. Some have been on the site for years and still seem to bring joy again and again, which makes me incredibly happy.
